Production resumed on Goliat

Eni Norge resumed production on the Goliat field early Tuesday morning. Full production is expected to be reached within short, with full reinjection of gas and produced water.

Production was halted on August 26th caused by gas detection in an unwanted area, during a planned venting of gas, as part of a maintenance operation. This led to an automatic power shutdown to eliminate ignition sources, in line with emergency and safety routines. During the power shut down, non-essential crew was evacuated as per procedure due to limited power supply.
