Goliat enhances comptence in Hasvik and Måsøy

Eni Norge is working with Hasvik and Måsøy municipalities to set up digital classrooms that will be used for distance learning using real-time audio and video transfer. The Goliat operator is investing in modern, top quality technology, the municipalities are providing the premises.  The total value of the investment is between two and three million Norwegian kroner.

The modern, top quality course facilities, including video transfer and 10 workstations will allow people to complete their training without having to leave their local municipality. The technology will use the internet to transfer audio and video in real time between the training institutes and classrooms located in the municipalities. This provides a completely new opportunity for these municipalities to offer a wide range of courses and school and university study options.
