Akkarfjord School has won a prize for the best national contribution and Best International Film in an international schools competition organised by Eni. The prize is a gift voucher worth EUR 3000. A class from Timor won the prize for Best International Project. 

The theme for this year’s competition was “Games”. The idea was for the students to gather information about their most popular contemporary and traditional local games and pastimes.
