The Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies (NOFO) and Arctic Protection AS, a maritime contingency services supplier, are currently establishing a task force to combat serious incidents of oil pollution in nearshore areas.

The idea of the task force was developed by Eni Norge and Statoil in collaboration with NOFO, and is part of the organisation of the Goliat project contingency strategy.
