Ruggero Gheller has been appointed new Managing Director at Eni Norge. 

Mr. Gheller has held several international leadership roles, including experience in the USA, North and West Africa. His latest experience is as VP of the Italian Southern District, Central and South Europe Region, with Eni S.p.A.

– The Norwegian continental shelf is one of Eni’s growth areas. 2015 will be an important year for Eni Norge, with the startup of Goliat – the first oil field to come in production in the Barents Sea – as well as the marking of Eni’s 50th anniversary in the country. I am looking forward to leading the company during this exciting period, says Mr. Gheller.

Mr. Gheller is a trained engineer from Politecnico di Milano and holds an MBA from INSEAD in France.

Former Managing Director, Mr. Andrea Forzoni, who has been leading the company for the past three years, will retire. Eni and Eni Norge thank Mr. Forzoni for his important contribution to Norwegian activities.
