When oil and gas exploration started on the Norwegian shelf in 1965, Eni Norge was among the first companies to establish itself in Norway. As partner in the Ekofisk field, we were the first to start producing oil, and ever since have played a key part in the Norwegian oil and gas adventure. 2015 will be a memorable year for us as we celebrate 50 years in Norway. Also next year, the first Eni-operated platform on the Norwegian shelf will come on stream on the Goliat field in the Barents Sea.

This year is the 40th anniversary of the first ONS, and we think this calls for a celebration. So we are proud to be an ONS anniversary partner and, among other things, will be sponsoring a free anniversary concert in Stavanger city centre on Wednesday 27 August featuring the Ylvis brothers.
