Science Centre gets a boost to the stars

Eni Norge has signed an agreement with “Vitenfabrikken”, to support the astronomy department of this popular Science Centre.  The agreement will provide two million Norwegian kroner over a period of four years and will contribute to the development of the Planetarium, one of the Centre’s important areas of commitment.

“Eni Norge has supported the Science Centre for several years and it is no coincidence that we have chosen the Planetarium to continue our collaboration,” says Andreas Wulff, Eni Norge’s Communication Manager. “The international research community considers astronomy to be important for promoting interest in science, and a source of inspiration to children and young people. Astronomy is also one of the main focus areas of the Norwegian “Knowledge Promotion” programme, which covers all school pupils up to the completion of secondary education. This is why we endorse the Science Centre’s choice of direction and share its enthusiasm for this subject.”
