Statoil ASA, together with partners Eni Norge AS and Petoro AS, is about to complete drilling of appraisal well 7220/5-1 in the Skrugard discovery in the Barents Sea.

The well was drilled about 3 km north of the discovery well 7220/8-1 (Skrugard), 6 km north east of the discovery 7220/7-1 (Havis), in the Barents Sea, west of Hammerfest.
