New Managing Director at Eni Norge

Mr. Andrea Forzoni has been appointed the new Managing Director at Eni Norge. Mr. Forzoni, formerly President and CEO of the Eni subsidiary Tecnomare, has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector.

His assignments have included several international positions heading Eni’s operations in North Africa, the Middle and Far East, and Australia. With his background in project engineering, Mr. Forzoni has headed up a number of major development projects for Eni in the past.

“This is an exciting time for Eni Norge, with two development projects coming on stream within the next two years”, says Mr. Forzoni. Marulk is due to start production in the second quarter of this year, making Eni Norge the ninth operator of a producing field on the NCS. Towards the end of 2013 Goliat will become the first oil field in production in the Barents Sea.

“I look forward to Eni Norge reaching these major milestones”, says Mr. Forzoni.
Eni Norge’s former Managing Director, Alessandro Puliti, has been appointed SVP, Petroleum Engineering, Production and Maintenance, based in Milan.
