New head of Eni Norge

PRESS RELEASE: Alessandro Puliti is new managing director at Eni Norge, a subsidiary of the Italian integrated energy major eni. Mr. Puliti has an extensive international experience and has recently held the position as Regional vice president Russia and North Europe.

Eni Norge has a long presence on the Norwegian continental shelf and was first established in Norway in the mid 1960s. The company is licence partner in 51 licences, including Ekofisk and Åsgard. 

In June 2009 Eni Norge, was granted approval by the parliament to start the Goliat project, the first oil production field in the Norwegian part of the Barents Sea. The project is expected to be in production last quarter 2013. 

Earlier this year eni norge, received PDO approval for the Marulk field in the Norwegian Sea. 

Former managing director, Leonardo Stefani, who has been leading Eni Norge, for the past two years, has been called for a role at eni, E&P head quarters in Milan. 

Eni Norge, has 300 employees with offices in Sandnes and Hammerfest.
