Eni offers a Master scholarship to people from Finnmark County

PRESS RELEASE: Scuola Enrico Mattei, which is integral part of Eni Corporate University, offers Master-program MEDEA – a Masters Degree in Energy Management, with a specialization within energy, environment and economics. “We wish to award the scholarships to persons from Finnmark, or with a connection to Finnmark”, says Bjørn Ravndal, Training and Dev. Co-ordinator.

Included in the scholarship are school-taxes and monthly remunerations for covering living-expenses. “Those receiving the scholarships are also offered a crash course in Italian before the school starts”, says Ravndal. “This because one has to live and reside in Italy. Most of the lessons will be in English, but some in Italian.”

Candidates for the scholarships have to be under the age of 32 and hold a relevant higher education. Professional experiences from energy- or environmental sector will be an advantage.

Eni Corporate University is the Eni company that manages orientation, recruitment, selection, training and knowledge management. It is Eni`s institutional point of contact with the Italian and international academic world for development and spread of the company’s corporate culture.

Deadline for applications are March 31st 2010. For more information, contact Training and Dev. Co-ordinator Bjørn Ravndal at 52874865 / 91788325, email bjorn.ravndal@eninorge.com or Communication Advisor Sylvi Jane Husebye at 78406270 / 98413638, email sylvi.jane.husebye@eninorge.com.
