Safest Operator and ESG leadership have the highest priority also for Vår Energi’s digital efforts. We have established a strong lighthouse program, Data Driven Safety & Sustainability, to improve our safety and ESG performance by smart use of data and technology.  

Our digital portfolio includes initiatives to drive Operational Excellence and improve our bottom line as well as initiatives to increase production levels and top line growth. Some examples:

• The Digital Field Worker program will improve safety, efficiency and data quality by connecting field workers on our offshore installations with digital applications to cover 80% of tasks performed. 
• The Optimize Drilling Performance initiative will reduce non-productive time and save engineering hours by maximising the potential of optimisation and automation services in drilling.  
• The Production Optimisation initiative aims to improve production at both Goliat and Balder/Ringhorne by using mature digital solutions for more data driven decisions.
