Safety in Vår Energi

One of Vår Energi’s main goals is to be the safest operator on the Norwegian Continental shelf. Safety will always be the number one priority, and is a value integrated in our culture as well as our business plans.

Vår Energi supports several initiatives to secure a safe and healthy work environment for employees and contractors, in cooperation with the Work Environment Councils (WEC).

Always safe

Vår Energi is a founding member of the Collaboration for Safety initiative together with Equinor and Aker BP.

The purpose of the initiative is to strengthen the industry’s safety culture and work together towards zero major accidents, and avoid injuries and undesirable incidents in our daily work.

On the Always Safe web platform you will find HSSE learning packages within the four topics of the Always Safe annual wheel.

The Always Safe learning packages contribute to our zero harm vision by strengthening safety culture and increasing correct safety behavior. New learning packages will be made available at the beginning of every quarter.
