Tor B. Tangvald has 38 years’ experience from the oil and gas industry, from oil service to exploration and production companies. Throughout his career, Tangvald has accumulated extensive experience with floating production units. He was responsible for the provision of a floating, production, storage and offloading unit at the Pierce field on the UK sector, including establishing an operations organisation in Aberdeen. Tangvald started to work for Norsk Agip in 2002 to work on the Goliat development. Thereafter, he has maintained key positions in Eni Norge, e.g. the Chairman of the Goliat Management Committee, Technical and License Manager and Deputy Managing Director.

Tor Tangvald holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway.
