Bjørn Thore Ribesen has over 25 years of technical and management experience from international oil and gas industry. Previous experience includes various positions with Schlumberger, Drilling Manager and OIM in Det norske / Aker BP. He was also part of the Ivar Aasen management team from exploration through development and into production. His last position in the Aker E&P system was SVP Drilling & Wells in Aker Energy.

He has a proven track record in building high performing teams, executing complex work processes and projects in Norway and internationally.

Bjørn Thore holds an Engineering degree in Offshore Technology from University of Newcastle upon Tyne and an EMBA from Norwegian School of Economics.
